“Riding is life,” to borrow from Ted Lasso’s Danny Rojas. For me, this rings true – riding is therapy, meditation, and liberation all rolled into one experience.

My eBike serves as my primary mode of transportation, taking me to work, the grocery store, and yes, occasionally to my favorite local brewpub. While I can borrow Diana’s 15-year-old car when time or distance demands it, I genuinely prefer two wheels to four. There’s something special about riding in all weather conditions. Being exposed to the elements, and feeling the air against your skin – it makes you feel truly alive.

Cycling demands a unique kind of focus that walking or jogging can’t quite match. In urban environments, a bike often proves more efficient than a car, letting you cover ground quickly while staying connected to your surroundings. But perhaps most meaningful to me is the mental clarity it provides. As I ride, the combination of fresh air and focused attention creates space for both wonder and reflection. It’s where I piece together my understanding of both my immediate world and the greater universe, one pedal stroke at a time.

Whether it’s sunshine, rain, or anything in between, I encourage you to get out and ride. The simple act of cycling has a remarkable way of awakening both body and mind. You might just discover, as I have, that there’s no better way to feel truly present, energized, and connected to the world around you. The physical and mental rewards of riding extend far beyond the journey itself – they become part of who you are.
